ruins to intriguing old Medinas and inspiring landscapes of desert and sea.

Day 1 - Tunis
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy colourful and animated Tunis at your leisure. Stroll among the fascinating souks to splurge on local crafts or head to the Halfaouine food market to sample the delicious local fare. D

Day 2 - Tunis/Carthage/Sidi Bou Said
Today visit the captivating Bardo Archaeological Museum, explore the entrancing old Medina, tour historical Carthage, and stroll in the charming artists’ village of Sidi Bou Said. B L D

Day 3 - Kairouan/Sefutela/Gafsa
This morning depart early for Kairouan to visit the Great Mosque and explore the famous souk. Later continue on to the ancient town of Sefutela to explore the Roman Forum, then depart for Tozeur via Gafsa. B L D

Day 4 - Tozeur/Douz
Enjoy the morning at your leisure to wander the beautiful oasis city of Tozeur. Take an exhilarating optional 4x4 excursion to the spectacular mountain oases towns or meander about the medina. This afternoon cross the great salt lake of Chott El Jerid to Douz, the“Gateway of the Sahara”. B L D

Day 5 - Kebili/Matmata/Gabès
Celebrate the nomad’s dawn with an optional camel trek into the Sahara early this morning. After breakfast depart for Matmata to discover the awe-inspiring Berber Village and the cave dwellings used as a backdrop for the Star Wars movies. Continue on to
the attractive beach town of Gabès for dinner. B L D

Day 6 - Gabès/Djerba/Gabès
Devote the day to an exploration of the delightful and historic island of Djerba to explore picturesque Guellala, famous for its beautiful pottery, El Ghriba synagogue, home to the world’s oldest Sefer Torah, and then Houmt Souk, the main town of Djerba known for its fabulous souk. Return to Gabès for the evening. B L D

Day 7 - Gabès/Sfax/El Jem/Tunis
Spend the morning wandering about the oasis of Gabès. Then on to El Jem to marvel at the Roman Amphitheatre, the most imposing historical monument left by the Romans. Journey back to Tunis for the evening. B L D

Day 8 - Tunis
Transfer back to the airport or consider extending your stay in wondrous Tunisia.
